Welcome to the New Town Station Nursery online store. By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. About our online store

New Town Station Nursery operates this online store to sell plants and other goods available from our nursery.

We aim to keep product information, photographs, pricing and availability as accurate and up to date as possible. However, as we are a retail nursery, stock can change quickly and some products may become unavailable without notice.

2. Product information

Plants are living products and each plant is unique. The size, shape, colour, form and appearance of individual plants may vary from product photographs and descriptions.

Photographs are intended as a guide only and may show a mature plant, a plant in flower, or a representative example of the variety rather than the exact plant you will receive.

Plant availability, flowering stage and appearance can also vary depending on the season and growing conditions.

3. Product availability

All orders are subject to availability.

We make every effort to ensure products shown as available online are in stock. However, occasionally a product may become unavailable before your order can be fulfilled.

If this occurs, we will contact you to discuss an alternative product, partial refund or cancellation of the affected item.

4. Prices

All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Prices and product availability may change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time your order is placed.

5. Placing an order

When you place an order through our website, you are making a request to purchase the products selected at the prices displayed.

An order confirmation will be sent to you after your order has been received. An order is subject to product availability and our ability to fulfil the order.

We reserve the right to cancel an order where there has been an obvious pricing or product description error, a stock availability issue, or where we are otherwise unable to fulfil the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, you will receive a full refund for the cancelled order or affected item.

6. Payment

Payment must be made at the time an online order is placed.

We accept the payment methods made available through our Shopify checkout.

We do not have access to or store your full payment card details.

7. Local delivery

We offer local delivery on online orders of $150 or more to selected postcodes in Hobart and surrounding areas.

Delivery is currently limited to the areas listed in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

We do not offer Australia-wide or interstate delivery.

Delivery arrangements, eligible areas and minimum order requirements are subject to our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

8. In-store collection

Online orders may also be collected from New Town Station Nursery.

Please wait until you have received confirmation that your order is ready before coming to collect it.

9. Returns, refunds and exchanges

Our Returns & Refunds Policy applies to all purchases made through our online store.

For change-of-mind returns, the conditions outlined in that policy apply.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products will be dealt with in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

All approved returns, refunds and exchanges must be brought to New Town Station Nursery in person. We do not accept returns by post.

10. Living plants

Plants require appropriate care after purchase. Once a plant has been delivered or collected, responsibility for its ongoing care rests with the customer.

We cannot guarantee the ongoing health or performance of a plant where its care, growing conditions or environment are outside our control.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where a plant is faulty, not of acceptable quality, or otherwise fails to meet consumer guarantees.

11. Delivery and collection

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and contact details when placing an order.

If you provide incorrect information that prevents delivery, additional arrangements may be required before your order can be delivered.

For local deliveries, we will arrange a suitable delivery time where possible. Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the order or providing suitable instructions for where it may be safely left.

12. Website content

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on our website is accurate and current. However, we do not guarantee that all information, product descriptions, photographs, prices or availability will always be completely accurate or free from errors.

We may update, change or remove website content and products at any time.

All photographs, written content, graphics and other original material on this website are the property of New Town Station Nursery unless otherwise stated and may not be reproduced without permission.

13. Website use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the operation or security of the website.

You must not use the website to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, introduce malicious software, or engage in any activity that could damage or disrupt the website.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy where a product does not meet those guarantees.

The Terms & Conditions that apply to your order are those in effect at the time your order is placed.
