Citrus — Eureka Lemon

Eureka is one of the most popular lemons for the home garden, producing juicy, sharp-flavoured fruit with a bright yellow rind. Unlike many citrus varieties, Eureka can flower and fruit throughout much of the year, giving you a remarkably long harvest window. The tree has an attractive spreading habit, glossy evergreen foliage and fragrant white flowers.

Eureka can be grown in a large pot and responds well to pruning, making it possible to keep the tree at a more manageable size. It is more frost-sensitive than Lisbon, so choose a warm, sheltered position in colder areas and protect young growth from heavy frost.
