Citrus — Lisbon Lemon

Lisbon is a vigorous and highly productive lemon with classic sharp, juicy fruit and a relatively thick, smooth rind. The tree has dense evergreen foliage and an upright, spreading habit, making it an excellent choice for a productive home orchard or kitchen garden. Lisbon is particularly well suited to cooler regions and is known for its good cold tolerance once established.

Lisbon can be grown in a large pot but will need regular pruning to keep its size manageable. It can be thorny, particularly when young, and benefits from protection from strong winds. Keep the soil consistently moist while the tree is establishing and while fruit is developing.
