Citrus — Sweet Lime

Sweet Lime, also known as Limetta, produces round, pale yellow-green fruit with a surprisingly mild, sweet flavour and very low acidity. The juicy fruit is excellent for fresh eating, drinks and desserts and makes an interesting addition to a home citrus collection.

Harvest: Autumn–winter

Sweet Lime is best planted in a warm, sunny and sheltered position. It can be grown in a large pot and maintained at a manageable size with pruning. Protect from severe frost and cold winds.
