Citrus — Tahiti Lime
Tahiti Lime is a productive, evergreen citrus that produces juicy, seedless limes with a fresh, acidic flavour. The fruit is indispensable for drinks, dressings, marinades, desserts and Asian-inspired cooking. The tree has glossy foliage, fragrant flowers and a naturally attractive rounded habit.
Height & Width: 3–4m x 2–3m
Aspect: Full sun
Soil: Fertile, well-drained soil
Harvest: Year-round, with heavier crops during the cooler months
Tahiti Lime is well suited to growing in a large pot and can be pruned to maintain a compact shape. It prefers a warm, sheltered position and is sensitive to frost, so protection from cold winds and heavy frosts is particularly important in Tasmanian gardens.
All citrus are supplied in 165mm pots.
