Rhododendron — Countess of Athlone

Countess of Athlone is a handsome, bushy rhododendron with glossy lime-green foliage and generous trusses of wavy-edged flowers. Deep mauve buds open to silvery-lilac blooms, creating a softer, almost shimmering effect as the flowers mature. An excellent choice for a larger shaded border or woodland garden. Australian growers report it flowering around October–November.
