Black Lace Elderberry

Black Lace Elderberry (Sambucus nigra 'Black Lace') is a striking deciduous shrub with deeply cut, almost black-purple foliage that brings wonderful contrast to the garden. In late spring and early summer, clusters of soft pink flowers appear against the dark foliage, followed by berries. Its upright, bushy habit makes it useful as a feature shrub, informal screen or bold addition to a mixed border.
