Citrus — Meiwa

Meiwa is a sweet-fruited cumquat with small, rounded orange fruit that can be eaten whole, skin and all. The thick, sweet rind balances the mildly acidic flesh, making the fruit delicious fresh from the tree as well as excellent for marmalade, preserves and candied fruit. The tree has glossy evergreen foliage, fragrant white flowers and a naturally neat, compact habit.
