Citrus — Minneola Tangelo

Minneola is a delicious tangelo, a cross between a Duncan grapefruit and Dancy mandarin. It produces large, juicy orange fruit with a distinctive neck at the stem end and a rich, sweet-tart flavour. The fruit is excellent for eating fresh or juicing, while the evergreen tree makes an attractive addition to the edible garden.

Minneola performs best in a warm, sunny position with protection from strong winds and severe frost. It can be grown in a large pot with regular pruning to maintain a manageable size.
